The walk cycle was a fun project in understanding the movements of limbs and how the movement of an objects affects their accessories. For my character I was originally going to has a snail that would slide into frame and then have it pick himself up to then reval legs as they would begin to walk. I soon realized that I wouldn't have time to do everything I wanted so I focused primarily on the walk itself. With having a character whose waist was inside their shell I ran into some difficulties with the snails legs shrinking and growing in some frames. This was a minor setback but I was able to overcome it by copying and pacing the length of a leg on multiple frames to have a more consistent look.
